Manufacturing and Industry

If pumps are a part of your manufacturing operation, you might have a variety of pumping equipment.

If pumps are a part of your manufacturing operation, you might have a variety of pumping equipment including:

  • Chemical pumps
  • Water pumps
  • Dewatering pumps
  • Recirculating pumps

We know that any equipment breakdown in your manufacturing facility is not only an inconvenience but can cost money while it is not operational.

Better Pumps offers a prompt response to assist you in getting your equipment up and running.

We have the support of our own fully equipped workshop which means we can do all repairs inhouse including fitting of replacement parts, repairing of worn components to be reused and even manufacture of some parts due to time constraints or unavailability.

This minimizes the delay in having your equipment running again and keeps the cost to you as low as possible.

We can also extend the life of your pumping equipment by coating the working surfaces of your pump wet end with a hard wearing ceramic epoxy compound. This process can be used for a worn pump to rebuild and repair the components or the product can be applied to a new piece of equipment to ensure the maximum life of the pump.

The manufacturing industry uses pumps for a wide variety of applications dependant on the product being produced. Manufacturing plants producing concrete, cement, steel, clothing, textiles or plastics are a few examples of those that require pumps in their processes.

Depending on the application, pumps used in the manufacturing industry may be required to cope with conditions such as high temperature and/or pressure operation, hazardous media, and corrosive or flammable liquids.
